Arjun was very pleased on seeing the enormous form of Krishna but could not bear the light of that form for long, so requested Krishna to appear in the Chaturbhuj form. Krishna fulfilled his wish and then educated him on Dhyanyog and commented on reincarnation.
Lord Shiva and Parvati were the witnesses of the preaching of Geeta given by Krishna. On Parvati’s enthusiasm, Shiva told her the meaning of Dhyanyog and explained the importance of “OM”.
Shri Krishna gave his last lesson to Arjun and said, “Along with a determination to follow the path of karma, come in my refuge because this is the path of your salvation
Also, according to kshatriya religion, your prime duty is to fight a battle.” With the preaching of Geeta, Arjun got disillusionment, all his doubts were cleared and he got ready for war.This sermon on the battlefield is the Bhagwat Gita, the most important text of Hinduism.
The Kauravas are the 100 obstacles or vices that the five senses or Pandavas battle daily, but they have god (Krishna) on their side, and thus eventually will win, but it’s not an easy task and can take many many lifetimes to achieve. This is the game of life, the matrix
Yudhishthir left his weapons and armour and moved towards the kauravas’ army. Every one was surprised seeing this. Then Krishna informed that Yudhishthir has gone to take permission to start the war from his elders and teachers.
