Tripura Bhairavi Yantra

Tripura Bhairavi Yantra is a sacred geometrical diagram to invoke and seek blessings from Goddess Bhairavi. It erases fear and distress from worshippers and bestows safety and happiness. It fulfills desires and wealth, cures from diseases, and protects from evil forces. The Yantra is contained in a Bhupur (a square with 4 T-shaped doors), the doors give access to the Yantra. The eight lotus petals represent 5 elements – Air, Fire, Water, Earth, and Sky, and 3 Gunas (vitrues) – Sattva (goodness), Rajas (passion) and Tamas (chaos). The concentric downward triangles represent the feminine aspect of God. The concentric triangles concentrates the consciousness of devotee toward the central point, Bindu, which is the most powerful part of the Yantra and represents the Supreme consciousness or the God, which is Bhairavi in this Yantra.

Devotees of Tripura Bhairavi often utilize specific mantras and yantras associated with her worship. The Tripura Bhairavi Yantra, for example, is a sacred geometric diagram used for meditation and spiritual practice to invoke her presence and blessings. Mantras such as the Tripura Bhairavi Moola Mantra and the Tripura Bhairavi Gayatri Mantra are chanted to connect with her divine energies and receive her grace.

Worship of Tripura Bhairavi is believed to facilitate spiritual transformation and liberation (moksha). Through devotion and practice, devotees seek to transcend their egoic limitations and merge with the divine consciousness represented by Tripura Bhairavi, ultimately attaining union with the Supreme Reality.

The Tripura Bhairavi Yantra is used for meditation, worship, and spiritual practice by devotees seeking the blessings and guidance of Goddess Tripura Bhairavi. By meditating on the yantra with devotion and concentration, practitioners aim to invoke the goddess’s divine presence and align themselves with her transformative energies. The yantra is believed to facilitate spiritual growth, inner purification, and the removal of obstacles on the path to enlightenment.

Working with the Tripura Bhairavi Yantra involves not only meditation but also devotional practices such as chanting mantras, performing rituals, and offering prayers to the goddess. Through these practices, devotees seek to deepen their connection with Goddess Tripura Bhairavi and experience her transformative presence in their lives.

The Tripura Bhairavi Yantra serves as a powerful spiritual tool for devotees to connect with the fierce and transformative energies of Goddess Tripura Bhairavi, seeking her blessings for protection, empowerment, and spiritual realization.

Tripura Bhairavi is deeply rooted in the Tantric tradition of Hinduism, which emphasizes the worship of divine energy (Shakti) in its various manifestations. She is considered one of the Mahavidyas (Great Wisdom Goddesses) and embodies the fierce aspect of the Divine Mother, representing the power of destruction and transformation.

Tripura Bhairavi is often depicted with a fierce demeanor, adorned with skulls, serpents, and other symbols of power and destruction. She is depicted with multiple arms, each holding various weapons, symbolizing her ability to destroy ignorance and negativity.

Tripura Bhairavi is particularly revered in Tantra as the goddess of Kundalini Shakti, the divine energy that resides at the base of the spine. She is associated with the awakening of this primal energy through spiritual practices such as meditation, mantra chanting, and ritual worship.

In the Tantric tradition, the worship of Tripura Bhairavi often involves a sacred guru-disciple relationship. The guru serves as the spiritual guide who initiates the disciple into the practices and rituals associated with Tripura Bhairavi, leading them on the path to spiritual realization and enlightenment.

The worship of Tripura Bhairavi is believed to bestow various benefits to her devotees, both on the spiritual and material levels. Here are some of the perceived benefits:

Devotees believe that by connecting with her divine energy through rituals, meditation, and mantra chanting, they can attain higher states of consciousness, deeper spiritual insights, and ultimately, liberation (moksha).
  • Destruction of Ignorance: Tripura Bhairavi represents the destructive aspect of the Divine Mother, symbolizing the destruction of ignorance (avidya) and the egoic self. • Pieter Weltevrede – is a Master “Sacred-Artist” based out of the Netherlands. After a many years of guidance, under his guru Late Harish Johari a successful author, a gifted painter and sculptor, a lifetime scholar, an inspiring teacher, a splendid cook, an ayurvedic massage miracle, etc., Pieter embarked on his own journey amalgamating ancient Indian knowledge with his own western sensibilities evolving an art form that appeals to todays international audience. He has been practising his art form from the last 40 years now. His original paintings are in water colours on silk with a wash-technique that gives them a very three-dimensional feel. The complexity and detail in his works are a super-human endeavour as he continues to live a mundane life travelling between the Western World and India.

Here, ‘TRIPURA BHAIRAVI YANTRA’ paintings are printed on coated matt paper by inkjet printer, using ultra chrome inks with an off-white paper mounting with golden border, and encased inside a fibre frame with acrylic sheet cover in the front.
