Shri Kuresh lived in Kur-agrahaar, two miles west to Kanchipur in Tamilnadu. He was a rich Brahmin born in Vatsa Gotra (lineage). Some people believed him to be born in Harit Gotra. Being the jamindaar of Kuru-Agrahaar village he was named “Kurunaath” or “Kuru”.
In the Vedic religion, after Shri Shankaracharya and Shri Ramanujacharya, the most respectable name is Shri Madhavacharya. He had established “Dvaitvaid” after Shri Shankar’s “Advait” and Shri Ramanuj’s “Vishishtadvait”.
